GENERAL PRACTITIONERS

 

GP's diagnose illness, prescribe medicines and refer patients for tests and to specialists if necessary.

 

Dr Abdul Majid MBBS MRCGP (male) provides normal GP surgeries. He also performs child health surveillance, joint Injections and minor surgery. He has an interest in diabetes mellitus and teaches student doctors and trainee GPs. He is responsible for designing and updating this website.

His normal days of work are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

 

Dr Asim Shoaib MBChB MRCGP (male) provides normal GP surgeries. He also performs child health surveillance, joint Injections and minor surgery. He has an interest in sports medicine and can perform male circumcisions on children as a private consultation.

His normal days of work are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

 

Dr Helen Perkins MBBS MRCP MRCGP (female) provides normal GP surgeries. She also performs post natal checks and contraceptive implant fitting.

She has an interest in palliative medicine and teaches student doctors and trainee GPs.

Her normal days of work are Tuesday and Wednesday.

 

Dr Asim Rashid MBBS MRCGP (male) provides normal GP surgeries. He holds a postgraduate diploma in dermatology and also teaches student doctors and trainee GPs.

His normal days of work are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

 

Dr Kate Hebden MBChB MRCGP (female) provides normal GP surgeries. She also performs contraceptive implant fitting and coil fitting. She has an interest in family planning.

Her normal days of work were Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Dr Pirzada Anwer MBBS MRCP (male) is Specialist Training Year 2 (ST2) doctor

and is in the process of General Practice training.
