OTHER SERVICES

We are always looking for new ideas to improve the services we offer within the practice, and are happy to receive feedback regarding this.  Below is a list of other services we currently offer.

COUNSELLOR - Alison and Joanna provide weekly sessions within the surgery. They see those people referred by any of the doctors in the practice.

DIETICIAN - Alison (not the same one!) provides monthly sessions, seeing those people referred by either the doctor or the nurse.

PODIATRIST - Clare provides monthly sessions, giving advice on foot care to our diabetic patients.

HEALTH VISITOR  -  Karen Ogden is involved in a wide variety of areas, mainly revolving around the needs of children and parents from soon after birth. She can be seen by referral from the doctor or nurse, or at the drop in service on Thursday afternoons.

MIDWIFE - Jane offers regular ante-natal care for expectant mothers. She sees patients every Monday from 9am-12pm. You no longer need to see the doctor for your referral to hospital,  please book in with Jane, who will make all the necessary arrangements, including the referral. However, if you do not wish to continue with the pregnancy, you must in this circumstance, see the doctor to discuss this.

DISTRICT NURSES - The district nurses are based at Ann Street Clinic. They offer a wide range of services including dressings and injections of prescribed drugs.



In the future, we also hope to set up some clubs for patients, such as walking or information technology. If you have an interest please contact us.
