ST3 trainees Alice Rhodes, Beshir Juwaied and Saima Arif joined the Practice recently.
ST2 trainee Mariam Farshchi also joined the Practice.
Hajar Alobaidi joined as a salaried GP after successfully completing her ST3 training at the Practice.
FY2 trainee Aisha Ghani joined the Practice in December 2021.

We have a aesthetically appealing 'Responsive Design Website' to keep patients informed of our services, policies, as well as offering health based advice and information.
Use our website as an effective tool. You can request repeat medication and book online appointments using Patient Access.
You will need to create an account first - please ask at the reception.
New patient forms can be accessed and downloaded at the website and also self certified sick note form.

We continue to offer an improved appointment system. Patients requiring an urgent appointment or home visit on the same day will be able to ring before 11:00am.
If your call is non-urgent, please ring after 11:00am to allow us to deal with urgent cases quickly. It is is preferable to complete the Online Consult form.
Patients with an urgent problem will initially receive a telephone call from the Doctor or Nurse Practitioner. They will then arrange for any treatment or appointment at the surgery as appropriate. Some patients will be advised and may not require to be seen.
Patients requiring an early appointment will be able to request for a 48 Hour access via Online Consult form.
Patients who are requesting routine appointments should also complete the Online Consult form.
Telephone appointments will continue to be available.
Any feedback regarding the appointment system will be welcome.
Please make sure you notify us in good time if you are unable to attend. This appointment can be offered to another patient who is in need of it.
Patients are reminded of their scheduled appointment by an automated text message sent to their mobile phone.
Please also update your existing mobile phone number on our record.
The Practice reception desk is open Monday to Friday 08:00am to 06:30pm.
During Out of Hours contact 111 or by attending the Walk in Centre for urgent care available at Tameside Hospital (next to A&E) and is open everyday from 9am until 9pm.
The Practice will be closed for staff training on the third Thursday afternoon of the month.
New Patient Registration
As a practice we are always keen to find ways to improve our methods of communication with our patients.
The New Patient Registration Form can be completed online using the website. Patients can contact the practice by online website form using a single click.

Being overweight increases the risk of getting diabetes and also puts the person at risk of having high blood pressure and associated risks of heart attack and stroke.
Eating a healthy low calorie diet together with moderate regular exercise will help in weight reduction. We are there to help patients with health advice including how to lose weight.
Smoking increases risk of several diseases including cancer, heart disease and respiratory problems. Quitting smoking can rapidly improve health and well-being as well as reducing risk of future disease. It is never too late to stop and you will notice the difference very quickly!
The Smokefree Tameside Service can be contacted on 0161 716 2000. They will support to help you give up smoking - including advice, nicotine replacement patches and medication.
