The NHS App
You can use the NHS app on your smart phone or tablet to access a range of healthcare services. This app is in addition to the services we already provide, and will not replace them.
Use the NHS App to:
- check your symptoms
- find out what to do when you need help urgently
- book and manage appointments at your GP surgery
- order repeat prescriptions
- securely view your GP medical record
- register to be an organ donor
- choose how the NHS uses your data
You will need to register with the surgery for Online Access in order to use the app. Please visit our information page here, or ask at Reception for more details. Most patients aged 16 or over will be able to verify their identity and register through NHS login.
After receiving your Online Access details, you can then register in the app. NHS Digital will carry out a series of checks to confirm your identity. The app will then securely connect to information from us, your GP surgery. To keep your access secure, NHS Digital will send a security code via text to your phone each time you use the app.
