Community Health Care Champions Group
What do we do?
Currently the Community Health Care Champions Group meet on average every two months at the practice premises, usually on the third Thursday evening of the month when the GP surgery is closed in the afternoon for staff training.
We raise issues which have caused concern or worry for patients as well as those which have been successful and helpful.
The Patient Participation Group does not handle individual complaints.
We work with the Practice to identify priorities for patients, and contribute to proposals for any improvements or changes.
We talk to patients at Denton Medical Practice to get their opinions and feelings as well as conduct Patient surveys.
Why do we do it?
At Denton Medical we form a link between the patients and the Practice with a view to making a useful contribution to the improvement of existing services and to help the Practice to develop new services to meet the needs of patients.
